Breaking Barriers: Access Capital for Black Developers - June General Body Meeting

  • 18 Jun 2024
  • 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM (EDT)
  • Tolhouse

Registration is closed

Black Americans represent less than 5% of residential real estate developers, often facing significant barriers to accessing capital. Traditional financial institutions and investors typically favor established players, making it difficult for Black developers to secure funding for projects. This lack of access to capital limits opportunities for Black developers to participate in and benefit from real estate development.

The Greater Toledo Realtist Association's June General Body Meeting, featuring LISC, aims to address these issues by providing Black developers with critical insights and opportunities for financing real estate development projects. By bridging the gap in access to capital, this meeting seeks to empower Black developers, promote economic equity, and drive community revitalization in Toledo.
