Don’t Ghost the Vote: Tricks, Treats & Truth About the 2026 Election

Don’t Ghost the Vote is a nonpartisan, family-focused civic engagement event designed to connect voters with candidates in a fun, welcoming environment while helping residents register to vote, check their voter registration and learn more about the upcoming election.

Candidates will host Halloween-themed tables where families can stop by, ask questions and hear a brief elevator pitch about the candidate and the office they are seeking.

And we’re getting our young people involved! Children will visit the candidate tables and cast their own ballots for their Favorite Candidate Table. The winning table will receive a prize.

Candidate Table Registration: $40
Includes one table and two chairs.

Registration Deadline: Friday, September 25, 2026

Registration fees help offset the cost of providing this free community civic engagement event.

We would love to have candidates participate personally. If your schedule does not allow you to attend, a designated campaign representative may attend and host your table on your behalf.

GTRA is a nonpartisan organization. The same registration opportunity, fee and participation guidelines are being offered to candidates regardless of political party or affiliation.
